A simple, yet tasty, chicken taco recipe with a spicy, citrus flavor. Healthy and quick to make.
Ingredients
  • 1 pound chicken breast filets, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 cup lemonade
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • onion, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 bay leaf, chopped
  • 2 large tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup of sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
  • Tortillas / Taco shells
  • 1 avocado, chopped
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • cup sour cream
  • 1 head of lettuce, chopped
Instructions
  1. Quickly sear chicken on each side in a large oiled frying pan at high heat.
  2. Reduce heat and add lemonade, lime juice, Worcestershire sauce, onion, garlic and bay leaf.
  3. Mix well and simmer on medium-high heat for 10-15 minutes, or until chicken is fully cooked.
  4. Mix and serve in warm tortillas/taco shells with desired amounts of avocado, tomatoes, lettuce, sour cream and cheese.
  5. Enjoy!
